Deposition Solutions is Hiring a Remote Direct Hire Legal Recruiter | Remote

SUMMARY: 

Lexitas, a rapidly growing legal services company, is seeking a Direct Hire Legal Recruiter to join our Legal Talent Outsourcing Division. Through this division, Lexitas provides Interim Legal Staffing, Direct Hire Placements, Commercial Contracts Outsourcing and Document Review services to our law firm and corporate legal department clients. This is a remote position. 

The Direct Hire Legal Recruiter will run a full desk and be responsible for business development, as well as placement of attorneys and paralegals into permanent positions with law firms and in-house legal departments.

This is an ideal position for an experienced legal recruiter or practicing attorney who is driven and enjoys connecting with people and walking both clients and candidates through the hiring process. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Developing and managing client relationships. 
  • Advising and consulting with clients on hiring practices. 
  • Recruiting attorneys and paralegals for direct hire positions.
  • Networking with attorneys and legal professionals.
  • Developing and maintaining client and candidate information in the applicant and client tracking databases. 
  • Compliance with recruitment and employment laws.
  • Meet or exceed assigned targets and sales and recruiting metrics, as assigned by the manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must show high attention to detail, good judgment, and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS preferred, and JD, a plus.
  • 3 years of sales and recruiting experience.
  • Proficient in using recruitment internet search tools, social media, applicant tracking system(s), database programs and job boards.
  • Legal recruiting and sales experience and demonstrable knowledge of the legal industry is preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is not a supervisor position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

License to practice law, a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is generally local during the business day but may include out of town travel; Total travel is expected to be less than 10%.
