Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Talent Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition Team and spearhead the initial phase of our recruitment process. The Contract Talent Sourcer will research, develop, and implement effective sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. This position will primarily focus on sourcing for salaried positions related to both construction and operations support.

As a Talent Sourcer, you will employ diverse channels to actively seek potential candidates, engage with passive candidates, and cultivate talent pipelines for future hiring requirements. If you possess strong networking abilities, a knack for sourcing on social media platforms, and a passion for exploring various roles, we would love to connect with you.

Responsibilities

• Identify and interact with potential candidates on social media, job boards, professional networks and other available resources
• Craft and send recruiting emails
• Coordinate with recruiting team and hiring managers to determine position requirements
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques
• Develop talent pipelines for future hiring needs
• Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
• Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
• Promote our employer brand online and offline
• Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
• Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role
• Must have construction industry experience, manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other recruiting resources
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
• Effective time-management abilities
• BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or other field
• Must be located within Colas area of operations
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
