Majestic Steel is excited to add a Forecasting Analyst to our team! This role will assist managing our steel investments and support customer needs by creating accurate monthly stock item level and customer forecasts. Leads sales demand reviews, analyzes sales trends and pipeline data, and understands market conditions. Proactively advance our forecasting systems and processes on an agile basis. Enhance area accuracy and efficiency based on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in forecasting methodologies. This is a hybrid work schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

• 2 years experience in Forecasting, Sales Operations, or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Technologically savvy with experience in MS Office products and Windows-based computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years experience in Forecasting and Supply Chain.
• Steel or Manufacturing Industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as statistics, mathematics, finance, business analytics or related fields.

• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Exceptional critical thinking capabilities along with the ability to assist in strategic planning.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly motivated with the ability to understand Majestic Steel USA’s core products, supplier agreements, and demand forecasts.
• Ability to manage multiple reports and projects with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with multiple Areas throughout the organization.
• Highly motivated with the desire to continually learn and expand knowledge base.

Additional

• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively from a home office setting.
• Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
• Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location.
