Cuyahoga Falls is partnering with an Akron-based company and seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their Parts department. The ideal candidate will excel in customer interactions, both in person and over the phone, to promote and sell company products and services that meet customer needs and resolve issues. This role involves various sales and administrative responsibilities aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales growth.
1st $18/hr
8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
**Responsibilities:**
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in-person to understand their concerns, problems, or requirements, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Match customer needs with available company products and services to optimize customer satisfaction and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by presenting product information, benefits, and pricing to customers, securing their agreement to proceed with purchases.
- Utilize software systems and supplier catalogs to accurately identify required parts, check pricing, and confirm availability.
- Highlight product features and benefits, provide price quotes and credit terms, and process sales orders efficiently.
- Enter sales transactions into computer systems to update inventory records and generate accurate customer invoices.
- Implement current freight policies to recover freight costs associated with sales transactions.
- Process customer payments and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Estimate and communicate delivery timelines to customers, coordinating with relevant departments to meet commitments.
- Investigate and resolve any customer issues related to deliveries or product quality promptly and effectively.
- Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Proactively engage in sales outreach efforts through phone calls or in-person visits to generate new leads and maintain existing client base.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in using computer software for inventory management, sales tracking, and customer communication.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is a plus.
