The Novvia Group, a global leader in packaging distribution, is currently searching for a Assistant Financial Controller to serve group-wide operations. This role would be based out of our CL Smith company facility in St. Louis, MO (primarily in-office / hybrid role).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a master's in accounting or CPA certification a plus. The candidate should possess 5 years of broad-based accounting experience, with focus on monthly closing, accrual management, financial reporting and analysis, etc.. - with a strong knowledge of GAAP and practices. Experience with EPICOR and/or Planful is a big plus. This person should demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication skills are a must. We are looking for in this newly created role to help support Novvia's Group Controller, and work with the individual group companies to effectively and accurately manage the businesses accounting functions.
