The primary role of the Sourcing Manager – Recycled Resin Materials is to develop and deploy category strategies and support the purchasing and governance activities of goods and services needed by the organization. This role is responsible for the bidding process, contractual negotiation and supplier performance process that will be used within the sourcing and procurement function. This position is a key driver in ensuring categories of products are managed for cost optimization, governance and risk mitigation, while delivering finished goods or services on time with a high degree of quality.

• Deploy inventory management processes across assigned spend categories.
• Identify and vet new supply sources alongside a set or technical and commercial criteria
• Guide/ lead planning team for relevant spend categories to ensure on-time arrival of raw materials, components and finished goods.
• Execute ongoing improvement of selection, negotiation, monitoring, tracking, measuring and reporting per company policies
• Develop and deploy cost reduction/profit improvement plans with suppliers that directly impact yearly economic performance to achieve business goal
• Conduct supplier rationalizations and segmentation initiatives, proactively reviewing supplier performance, and establishing sourcing strategies
• Ensure suppliers are selected and managed per specifications of the company in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Manage ongoing conflict resolution of supplier issues, and developing, educating and measuring results for broader use in the supply chain team
• Develop and negotiate supply agreements for key suppliers within assigned categories
• Develop and drive low-cost region sourcing strategies for assigned categories aligning strategy and business practice with Business Unit Procurement leaders
• Execute ongoing improvement of selection, negotiation, monitoring, tracking, measuring and reporting per company policies
• Remote work allowed

• B.S. in Engineering, operations/supply chain management/business or related field, with 4 – 5 years of experience required. MBA preferred.
• Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, including business process metrics and measures linking to business goals
• Strong negotiation, analytical, conflict resolution, data-processing and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Has successfully worked in a team-based environment
• Prior experience/expertise in the following areas is strongly preferred. Experience with resins or recycled plastics is certainly preferred.
• Availability to travel 30% of time, domestically or internationally, when appropriate
