We are hiring an Environmental Program Specialist for one of our clients.

Job Description:

• The successful candidate would be required to participate in childcare facilities training and responsible for conducting field inspections and/or investigations in accordance with the provisions of youth camp safety standards in line with the Childcare Development Block Grant (CDBG) MOA. Subject to background check, applicant must possess excellent writing communication and investigation skills and will be required to learn and utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by this office.

Skills required:

• Experience conducting inspections/investigations; conducting face to face interviews with child care staff; experience working on the DHD software platform
• REHS license

Experience required:

• Current New Jersey Licensed Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS)
• Utilizes automated databases and computer software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Teams, Goto Meeting Zoom, or similar conference software is preferred.
• Trained Pool Operator (TPO) Certification preferred.

Education required:

• Bachelor’s degree

Working Hours:

• 8 am to 5 pm
• Lunch period: 1 hr (UNPAID)
