Job Summary

The Operations Integration Manager will facilitate a seamless integration for all new acquisitions by providing training and support on SavATree processes and systems, including but not limited to; safety protocols, operations processes, production techniques and sales practices. The Operations Integration Manager will support the employee experience by driving a quick assimilation of new team members, enhance the customer experience by minimizing any interruption to the sale and production of services, and drive sustainability across SavATree’s safety, environmental and economic objectives. 100% Remote role - Must live near airport/hub - 75% travel.

The Operations Integration Manager will facilitate a seamless integration for all new acquisitions by providing training and support on SavATree processes and systems, including but not limited to; safety protocols, operations processes, production techniques and sales practices. The Operations Integration Manager will support the employee experience by driving a quick assimilation of new team members, enhance the customer experience by minimizing any interruption to the sale and production of services, and drive sustainability across SavATree’s safety, environmental and economic objectives.

Overview of Role:

  • Support and nurture the employee experience by explaining, training, and supporting a quick assimilation of new team members to our defined processes and procedures within SavATree,
  • Ensure that a World Class customer experience is maintained by minimizing any interruption to the sales and production of services during the change process post close.
  • Drive sustainability across SavATree’s safety, environmental and economic objectives.

Due Diligence Process (Pre-Close)

  • Learn as much about the companies operational and sales processes as possible.
  • Identify and mitigate risks based on gaps in ways of doing business between the companies.
  • Develop the operations integration strategy and timeline with the colleague and customer impacts based on proposed changes in mind.

Integration Process (Post Close)

  • Serves as a key leader on the SavATree SWAT Team, with the primary focus on all operations and sales functions.
  • Calmly and Urgently ensure that the sales and operations service team can continue to function as smoothly as they did prior to close date
  • Train the appropriate management staff on how to run, manage, and report a SavATree business.
  • Support the business overall and help facilitate / navigate across all Shared Service areas as needed.
  • Lead a smooth transition of the business over to the Regional, District Operational Leadership before considering integration phase complete.

Essential Functions of the Role:

This position will be included in both pre and post close responsibilities of an Acquisition.

  • Develops a first “100” day plan for each acquisition and executes on such plan to ensure field operations balance Safety, Quality and Productivity in order to achieve business goals in the area of Sales, Customer Net Promoter Score, Employee Engagement and Profitability
  • Serves as a key leader on the SavATree SWAT Team, with the primary focus on all operations and sales functions
  • Perform safety audits and inspections in accordance with SAT and OSHA standards
  • Provide orientation and training to field personnel on all company safety programs and standard work
  • Ensure fleet has been properly labeled with signage and Department of Transportation (DOT) numbers
  • Implement daily SavATree dispatch processes
  • Coordinate training of all field personnel to ensure proper training, licensing, etc. including overseeing the implementation of the Self-Directed Advancement Program (SDAP).
  • Support staff on use of Prodeo, scheduling and routing practices and systems
  • Serve as a subject matter advisor to Arborists on the Sandler Model and use of tablets
  • Train field personnel on use of tablets
  • Train and facilitate team members on weekly sales meeting in accordance with SQDCG (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Growth) metrics
  • Support and drive a continuous improvement culture as it pertains to field operations and the facility.
  • Participate and contribute to company safety meetings.

Qualifications for this Role:

  • Degree in Business Management or Arboriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences or similar field;
  • ISA Certification (or willingness to obtain) a definite plus
  • 2 years of management experience in the tree care industry experience preferred
  • Successful candidates will excel in logistics and have experience in the day-to-day operations of a business, preferably in the tree care or landscape industries
  • Business management as well as knowledge of General Tree Care, Plant Health Care or Lawn Care ideal
  • CTSP qualification

Compensation range is $70k-100k bonus based on experience.

100% Remote role - Must live near airport/hub - 75% travel.
