GIFTED Healthcare - Education is hiring School - Based Social Workers for our full-time positions in New Mexico for the 24/25 school year.

REMOTE School Social Worker:
- Full time | Monday-Friday 37.5 hours | $43 - $46 an hour
- The duration of the 24/25 school year
- Must have state licensure
Responsibilities of the School Social Worker:
- Develop and implement intervention and prevention programs that assist in the reduction of at-risk students
- Participate on problem-solving teams in the school environment to support student success and collaborate with community agencies to promote accessibility of services to the school community and inclusion of student families
- Assists students to improve their academic, personal and social functioning.
- Provides social skills, anger management, stress reduction or other similar instruction to students who are experiencing social/emotional/behavioral problems that interfere with their learning or the ability of others to learn.
- Provides short-term individual and group counseling to students who are experiencing social/emotional/behavioral problems that interfere with their learning or the ability of others to learn. Provides information to families and assists them in accessing long-term or intensive counseling services, as needed.
