School for International Training is seeking a results-driven candidate for the remote position of Graduate Admissions Officer (GAO). Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services and within the Office of Admissions, the Graduate Admissions Officer will play a pivotal role in managing the admission process for current and future certificate, graduate degree, and doctoral programs. The successful candidate will manage a caseload of prospective students from inquiry through enrollment and will play a vital role in determining admission eligibility for a diverse applicant pool, both domestic and international.To excel in this role, the GAO must possess a creative and personable enrollment approach, recognizing the value of professional collaboration within a student-centered environment. They should also have a demonstrated track record of successfully converting prospective students into enrolled learners in a fast-pacedenvironment. The Admissions Team supports all SIT programs, and each GAO specializes in assigned programs, providing backup support as needed. An essential component of this position is a deep understanding of the unique aspects of each program as it pertains to students' professional and educational aspirations.RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gain expert knowledge about academic programs to best advise students in their decision process.• Collaborate with Graduate Admissions staff and faculty on admissions planning and policies.• Provide proactive and timely guidance and support to prospective students from inquiry throughenrollment.• Assist prospective students to understand the application process and ensure all materials are complete and accurate.• Assist with marketing and recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse pool of applicants.• Collaborate with alumni admission volunteers to enhance recruitment efforts.• Support the development of communication plans for prospective students from inquiry through enrollment.• Utilize inquiry and applicant data to inform strategies, decisions, and priorities.• Review and evaluate applications to determine admission eligibility.• Develop and execute yield events as needed for the targeted enrollment pipelines.• Provide guidance on SIT resources, financial aid, scholarships, and student services and coordinate predeparture orientations with faculty.• Stay current with admissions policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.• Participate in School-wide events and perform additional duties as required.• Support the overall strategic enrollment efforts of the institution.REQUIREMENTS
• Master's Degree Required• A minimum of four years of experience in admissions with a focus on graduate degree and doctoral programs• Evidence of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills• Demonstrated proficiency in using data to inform decision-making and guide priorities• Steadfast commitment to student-centered and ethical admissions practices• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships well with prospective student, faculty, and staff of diverse backgrounds and cultures• Demonstrated capacity to excel both independently and collaboratively within diverse a team environment• Knowledge of the enrollment funnel, outreach, and yield strategies with an emphasis on graduate degree and doctoral admissions• Evidence of proactive problem solving and follow-up to resolve student issues• Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours and travel as needed

Vaccination is strongly recommended for all employees in our U.S. offices except for those receiving medical or religious exemptions. If boosters are subsequently recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) then employees and faculty will be recommended to receive the booster within thirty (30) days of their eligibility.
