I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) 
• Read electronic nurses notes and approve or send for correction
• Call nurses to discuss corrections or discrepancies
• Verify paper notes are correct
• Enter times for paper notes
• Mail out Medication Logs for p-charts
• Scan paper notes into KanTime
• Enter late note offenses into KanTime journal notes

III. Education and Experience Specifications:
• License Vocational Nurse with the Texas State Board of Nursing
• Current Texas Driver’s good driving record, and reliable transportation, valid and current auto liability insurance.
• Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Of f ice, MS Excel and Scheduling program.
• Interpersonal, organizational and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to carry out and understand written and oral directions, to read and write.
• Maturity and ability to deal ef fectively with the demands of the job.
