We are seeking a seasoned Team Lead to head our dynamic DevOps team within a leading Fintech company, Nuvei. This role involves managing a high-performing team responsible for the infrastructure that processes millions of financial transactions daily across the globe. The Team Lead will spearhead cross-functional projects and DevOps initiatives, ensuring peak performance and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and enhancement of our production environments, focusing on security, reliability, scalability, and availability.
• Drive the strategic development and optimization of our CI/CD pipelines, primarily utilizing Azure DevOps.
• Manage our cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, ensuring best practices and efficient operations.
• Champion automation efforts, utilizing Terraform and Ansible, to streamline our infrastructure management.
• Supervise the development and optimization of logging and monitoring solutions, ensuring comprehensive visibility across systems.
• Lead the Root Cause Analysis process, driving issue resolution and minimizing future risks.
• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams like Development, QA, IT, and OCC.
• Ensure the team’s readiness for a 24x7 on-call rotation, managing scheduling and incident response.

• 7 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Proven ability to manage and scale high-availability production environments.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong background in working with .NET, Java, and Node.JS applications.
• Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Desirable

• Familiarity with payment processing systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Argo CD is a plus.
