PrizePicks is Hiring a Remote Product Designer, Back Office

At PrizePicks, we are the fastest growing sports company in North America, as recognized by Inc. 5000. As the leading platform for Daily Fantasy Sports, we cover a diverse range of sports leagues, including the NFL, NBA, and Esports titles like League of Legends and Counter-Strike. Our team of over 450 employees thrives in an inclusive culture that values individuals from diverse backgrounds, regardless of their level of sports fandom. Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?

We are looking to hire a Product Designer to join our core product team. You will be working closely with our back office team to design the tools that enable them to deliver high-quality experiences to our members. You will contribute to the UX strategic direction, roadmap, and success metrics for our portfolio of products.

Design is different at PrizePicks. We are collectively inspired by the future state of Daily Fantasy Sports and are committed to advancing it in meaningful ways. User experience is at the forefront of how we create impactful products used by sports fans every day.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with UX research, product managers, and engineers to drive design requirements.
  • Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Solve complex design problems for many different user personas.
  • Create detailed documentation to outline guidelines and standards.
  • Look for new ways to improve and surface insights to the product team.

What you have:

  • 3 years of successfully designing web and mobile products.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills that drive towards successful outcomes.
  • A strong storyteller and facilitator who can clearly and concisely explain complex concepts and build consensus with cross-disciplinary groups.
  • Systems-level design thinker with a thoughtful intuition that incorporates broader situational variables, user needs, and patterns in human behavior.
  • Experienced collaborator who brings out the best in others and offers a flexible, friendly approach to working with product teams.
  • Humble, ego-free, emotionally intelligent contributor who learns from, and builds upon, the ideas of others.

What makes you stand out:

  • Solve for underlying problems and outcomes, not just features.
  • Ask the right questions to understand the 'why'.
  • Display curiosity—at times even skepticism—of proposed solutions where there is a lack of evidence.
  • Proactively build a reputation as a trusted advisor with stakeholders on all matters surrounding the user experience and design.
  • Pay meticulous attention to the details and are passionate about building cohesive experiences.
  • Have experience contributing to design systems.

Where you'll live:

  • Anywhere in the US is fine but Atlanta would be preferred.

Benefits you'll receive:

In addition to your great compensation package, we'll shower you with perks including:

  • Company-subsidized medical, dental, & vision plans
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Stock options and bi-annual bonus
  • Uncapped PTO to encourage a healthy work/life balance (2-week MINIMUM required!)
  • Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
  • Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
  • Company-wide in-person events and team outings
  • Lifestyle enhancement program
  • Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
  • Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development

You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

PrizePicks is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
