Educational Site Coordinator

Requisition IDreq25638
Working TitleEducational Site Coordinator- VUB
Position Grade09
Position Summary

New Mexico Veterans Upward Bound (NMVUB) seeks an Albuquerque based (working on site in Albuquerque, New Mexico) Part-time (.50FTE) Education Site Coordinator for the TRIO VUB Program hosted by UNM-Taos.

This position does have the potential of becoming full time dependent on department need.

NMVUB is the only TRIO program of its kind in the state of New Mexico and currently serves pre-college students in eight northern New Mexico counties. VUB programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide individualized support to former military members seeking to attend academic programs at any college, university or technical school of their choice, not exclusively UNM. The NMVUB Education Site Coordinator will work in a hybrid environment, some remote work (primarily in a home office) and work closely with our program partners in Albuquerque, to provide support and programming for our Bernalillo, Sandoval and McKinley county based pre-college veteran students. Our new NMVUB Education Site Coordinator will be mission driven with a commitment to serving our veteran community, working virtually and in-person as part of small team of dynamic professionals. Our chosen candidate will be people-oriented, a self-starter with an ability to assess, plan and implement community outreach projects and professionally represent NMVUB. The Education Site Coordinator must be able to work equally well individually and in a team environment.
If you are interested in this Albuquerque based position with UNM-Taos, please submit a UNM application, resume with three former supervisors to be contacted for references, and a cover letter detailing how you meet our preferred qualifications below.
