QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field. * Three-plus year of experience in digital journalism, preferably in a newsroom environment. * Strong news judgment and editorial skills, with a keen eye for storytelling and visual presentation. * Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), web analytics tools and SEO best practices. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-drive environment. * Knowledge of north central Idaho and southeastern Washington issues, politics and culture preferred. * Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed. BENEFITS: * The position offers competitive pay along with a generous benefits package, 401K and a quality health care insurance plan. Remote work is an option. * MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION INSURANCE: The company covers 80% of the health insurance premium. The plan is based on a 70/30 health co-insurance supplemented by a Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan (MERP). * FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNT: This benefit allows employees to set aside income, pretax to pay for out of pocket medical and/or dependent care expenses. * 401(K) RETIREMENT PLAN: Employees may contribute 1% to 100% of gross earnings to a variety of investment choices. * 401(K) COMPANY MATCH: TPC Holdings will match 50% of employee contributions up to a total 3.0% of employee’s annual salary. * HOLIDAY PAY: The Company observes six holidays each year; New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, employees also receive a personal birthday holiday. * VACATION & HOLIDAY LEAVE: At least three weeks of paid time off in your first year of employment. * SICK LEAVE: Employees also accrue sick leave. * EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: Employees also have access to our EAP program.
