Grede is Hiring a Remote SharePoint Developer
This position is Remote or Hybrid.
Salary Range $75,000 to $85,000/annually
The main focus of the SharePoint Developer will be building and configuring SharePoint based internal websites using web UI or SharePoint Designer and developing code for SharePoint.What You’ll Do:
- The right candidate will be responsible for developing applications around business process management, work-flow management, forms, teamwork, and content management.
- SharePoint Developer will collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, create documentation, test the solutions, debug errors, and manage projects. This process will require close collaboration with the stakeholders and IT Management.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain key components of the software suite using classic ASP, Microsoft .Net and SharePoint Server 2019.
- Ensure configuration guides and install guides meet requirements.
- Integrate software or solutions with existing systems.
- Solutions will be robust and easily maintainable, understanding the ever-changing needs of the business.
- Design and Development of New Site/Functionality.
- Complete any environment maintenance necessary to keep the SharePoint platform up to date and functioning smoothly – including planning and implementing software version upgrade releases, troubleshooting, and debugging SharePoint sites.
- Reproduce production bugs in lower environments and provide root cause analysis and code corrections.
- Ensure compliance with SharePoint best practices, standards, and governance policies.
- Make recommendations for any changes to help ensure robustness and security of the SharePoint environment.
- Conduct UAT with Business Partners to ensure the solution meets their expectations.

- Coding, unit testing (automated) and debugging applications/solutions in one or more software languages at a basic skill level.
- Software testing, quality assurance and solutions testing.
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
- Document software code or solutions and ensure that technical documentation i.e.
- The candidate should have at least 3 years working experience in Three (3) or more of the following application development areas:
- •.NET Framework
- •ASP.NET
- •SharePoint Server
- •JavaScript
- •SharePoint Framework
- •Power Automate
- •PowerShell
- C#, CSS, HTML / XML, SQL – Plus.
- Must be self-motivated, a constant learner with the desire for continuous improvement, and a great communicator both written and verbally.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
