Job Description: 9Dot Events is seeking an Events Ambassador to join the team! You will enjoy being part of lots of fun, collaboration and meaningful party planning. This role will be primarily remote but being part of the Events team means you have an opportunity to get together and travel to graduations to be part of the planning and organizing (Up to 6 weeks a year off site at events local and out of state). This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person office days required to support events, gifting, and other administrative responsibilities as needed. **Salary - $26.00 hourly pay rate** Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following: Manage staff responsible for event coordination activities. Educate staff on proper event procedures. Manage budgets and adjust when necessary. Book venues and negotiate fees. Oversee the preparation of invitations (digital and print) and send out at appropriate time to all stakeholders. Work with managers and the executive team to ensure all requests are met. Drive attendance to the event. Manage the promotion of events. Analyze event performance and prepare presentations. Define the company brand through events. Ensure staff is adequately prepared for the event. Manage vendor payments and all accounting processes including W9 collection, annual project code assignments and credit card statement preparation and submission. Ensure the day of the event goes smoothly. Manages the set up of booths, flowers, decorations, and other event decor. Manages the execution of all internal and external gifting campaigns, from ordering and packing to shipping. Manage/oversee event timeline from conception to conclusion. Create event deliverables to ensure production runs accordingly to schedule. Provide direction to outside vendors and oversee coordination at events. Prepares all client billing, invoicing and statements of commitment. Collaborates with various departments to ensure vision and details are incorporated into the final product or timeline. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with staff, executive management, students, parents, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work as a team player with colleagues and administrators. Ability to give presentations, both at award ceremonies and for New Hire Orientations Ability to work independently and efficiently, exercising reasonable judgment, in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with minimal supervision. Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Zoom, Microsoft software (specifically excel) and Google Suite. Including the facilitation of virtual events. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel 20% of the time, with at least monthly attendance to the home office for tasks as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
