Job description
Responsibilities:

• Provide career coaching and guidance to individuals with intellectual disabilities seeking employment or career advancement
• Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths, skills, and career goals
• Develop personalized career plans and strategies for clients
• Assist clients in creating resumes, cover letters, and other job application materials
• Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help clients improve their interview skills
• Research and stay updated on current job market trends and industry-specific requirements
• Collaborate with employers and recruiters to identify job opportunities for clients
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as resume writing, networking, and job search strategies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, human resources, psychology)- Previous experience in career coaching, human services, counseling, or related roles- Strong knowledge of career development theories and practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to build rapport with clients and establish trust- Proficient in conducting assessments and interpreting results- Familiarity with various job search platforms and resources- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailNote: This is a general outline for a Career Coach job description.
