Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Route Sales Representative to join our team. As a Route Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling and delivering products to grocery stores in the Gretna, Belle Chasse, and Terrytown, LA area.
Duties:
- Drive company vehicle and trailer on designated routes to deliver and sell products. Additional commission is available if you drive your own vehicle.
- Upsell additional products to customers during visits
- Communicate effectively with customers to build relationships and meet their needs
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to secure access to the New Orleans Naval Air Station
- Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely
- Proficient in route driving and navigation
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items as needed
- Strong selling skills to promote products effectively
