Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Salon shampoo assitant/ to join our team. As the first point of contact for our salon, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous strong retail sales skills, shampoo skills

Duties:

- Greet clients warmly and ensure they feel welcome

- Schedule appointments

- Answer phone calls, emails, and social media messages promptly and professionally

- Process payments and handle cash transactions

-Applying Glosses, conditioning masks/ Treatments, Single processes, Highlights

- Coordinate with stylists to ensure smooth flow of appointments

- Assist with salon duties as needed (e.g., sweeping hair, folding towels keeping up with laundry, shampooing, glosses applying color)

- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients

Experience:

- Previous experience working at the front desk of a salon or spa is preferred

- Familiarity with hair styling techniques and products

- Cosmetology license IS required

Skills:

- Great social media skills

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in using salon software for scheduling and managing appointments
