Be part of New York Life! We are looking for qualified individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Financial Sales Professionals working in the Bismarck-Mandan, ND area.

We are the nation's oldest and most trusted mutual insurance and investment company, committed to providing clients with comprehensive protection, accumulation, and preservation solutions.

This role involves obtaining essential insurance and investment licenses, completing our thorough paid training program, understanding New York Life's financial products and processes, and creating a client base as an agent and registered representative.

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, with many opportunities for professional development and education within the our organization. We welcome sales professionals from different backgrounds including banking, business, financial services, insurance, leadership, and management. Having a current insurance and/or investment licenses in ND or MN is a plus.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Acquire licenses for selling securities and investment products for wealth management and advanced planning
  • Improve your professional skills and knowledge through the New York Life training curriculum
  • Develop and employ business plans to grow your client base
  • Prospect and contact potential clients to discuss their financial needs and concerns
  • Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products
Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and sales experience are strongly preferred
  • Articulate complicated concepts using superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks and contacts
  • Willing to learn and be your best self
  • Uncompromising integrity and responsibility required
