Being Independent Giants Inc., a non-profit organization, is seeking experienced janitorial and custodial professionals to join our team supporting a new government contract for federal facilities in Detroit, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies
• Follow detailed cleaning procedures and protocols to meet contract performance standards
• Utilize proper safety equipment and techniques to ensure a clean, healthy, and hazard-free work environment
• Report any issues or concerns to the on-site supervisors
• Maintain positive interactions with building tenants and staff

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of prior janitorial or custodial experience, preferably in a commercial or government setting
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Flexible schedule to accommodate daytime, evening, and weekend shifts as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
