Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical reception, possess strong organizational skills, and be knowledgeable in medical terminology and scheduling.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as required
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with basic medical procedures
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry

Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or medical assistant is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with phone systems and handling high call volumes
