Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake, assess service needs and develop service plans to Chinese speaking gender-based victims/survivors.
• Assist victims/survivors with crisis intervention, counseling, case management, and other supportive services.
• Provided advocacy on legal, immigration, housing, and public benefits and refer clients to self-sufficiency and legal services in the community.
• Accompany clients to police stations, courts, legal, medical, schools, community organizations, and social services agencies if needed.
• Develops and facilitates support groups.
• Responsible for all reporting procedures with regard to direct services.
• Develops and provides training and community outreach.
• Serve as a liaison to the community by attending meetings, fairs, and related events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Qualifications:
• Master degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field. LCSW, LMSW and LMHC preferred.
• Previous working experience with domestic violence, sexual assault or human trafficking victims preferred.
• Strong clinic skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Ability to function independently and also work on a team.
• Has supervisory experience a plus.
• Has driver license and car a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,500.00 - $62,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
