A'ali'i Ward Village is Hiring a Residential Specialist Near Honolulu, HI

Position Summary:

Full-time

  • 40 hours per week, eligible for overtime pay and shifts
  • Must have morning availability (7am-3pm)
  • $19 - $21/hr. Guard License Required

Part-time

  • Must have morning availability (7am-3pm)
  • $19 - $21/hr. Guard License Required
  • Seeking candidates with computer skills, strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Understand and remain proficient with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual.
  • Understand and enforce House Rules with Residents.
  • Ensures an optimal level of customer service, communication, and relationships with all residents, guests, and coworkers.
  • Proactively prevent unwanted situations; assist in the mediation of discrepancies; respond to resident calls and concerns.
  • Routinely complete Shift Reports and Incident Reports accurately, effectively, and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct inspections of the premises; investigates and reports all irregularities.
  • Takes direction from supervisors and properly informs them when levels of inventory and emergency materials are too low to safely continue daily operations during statewide emergencies such as power outages, hurricanes, earthquakes, flooding, tropical storms, and tsunamis.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Hawaii State Guard Card License
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team cooperatively.
  • Be dependable. Minimal tolerance for tardiness or missed shifts.
  • Be adaptable, flexible and above all patient.
  • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
  • Able to navigate basic computer programs, type shift entries and reports.
  • Must comply with mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, all employees are required to be vaccinated.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Front Desk Hospitality Experience
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified
  • Multilingual
  • Experience as a Residential Specialist in a luxury condominium setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Honolulu, HI 96814: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
