Rappahannock Comprehensive Community Services is Hiring a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Near Fairfax, VA

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Crisis Stabilization or Mental Health Skill Building
  • Work within clients’ homes to assist themselves or their family with defining the goals in the least restrictive environment to foster personal growth.
  • Develop relationships with family members, become invested in their clients' future and become an advocate for their client
  • Work with the client's community service providers, teachers, principals, lawyers, probation officers and psychiatrists
  • Provide crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Track all individualized service plans and paperwork
  • Manage paperwork and meeting deadlines
  • Attend staff meetings and communicating with supervisors
  • Discuss updates, progress and concerns with supervisors on a weekly basis
  • Coordinate with community service providers
  • Work Location: In the community (travel within local area required)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
