ESG works with Regional and National CPA firms, Fortune 1000 companies, and Private Equity portfolio to bring the best talent in the areas of Accounting, Finance, & IT.Job DescriptionThe Tax Senior Accountant performs complex tax duties on a regular basis as well as trains and develops staff accountants.What your day looks like:Preparation of basic and intermediate individual tax returnsResearches fundamental tax issues using online toolsPossesses a basic understanding of book/tax differencesPreparation of federal corporate (C and S), and multi-state tax returns, and basic partnership returnsPreparation of tax depreciation schedules including proper classification of assetsPerforms other accounting and auditing duties as needed in engagements and as assigned by supervisory personnelPerforms other essential duties as needed What you need for this role:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Master’s in Accounting is preferred.CPA Certified or the eligibility to work towards obtaining a CPA license.3 years of experience in public accounting.Proficiency with personal computers including spreadsheet software programs.
