We conduct the evolution of Maker communities and are seeking dynamic individuals inspired by continuous improvement and the quest for excellence to join our team!Job DescriptionTitle: Accounting ManagerReports to: Chief Financial OfficerJob Purpose: Responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through accounting administration and preparation of reports and statements across PHX Holdings and subsidiary organizations. Scope: PHX Holdings LLC is currently comprised of three operating companies to include 275 personnel and a $60MM operating budget. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Maintains the general ledger, recording cash receipts and financial transactions for PHX Holdings and subsidiary operating companiesPrepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assist with other monthly close processesAssists with preparing quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and financial presentationsUtilizes PowerBI/Tableau (or other technology) to build reports and transform dataConducts spending analyses with operating companies to drive accountability and improvementParticipates in the external audit process and assists auditors with documentation requestsActs as backup to AP/AR dutiesAnalyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventoriesOversight of key capital expenditure processesPerforms duties as needed to support the CFO and accounting personnel at operating companiesPrepares/maintains Standard Work Instructions for all owned processesIdentifies opportunities for improvement and assists with corrective action and continuous improvement initiativesLiaises with other functional groups and departments to support operational capabilities, changes, and improvements and to communicate timelines and deliverables to complete projects on time.Ensures activities meet and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and general duty of careExecutes all responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards as established by company policies and proceduresHandles all confidential information with discretion and integrityPerforms other related duties as assigned or requestedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required2-3 years of professional experience in accounting and financeCPA certification preferred (or on CPA track)Advanced MS Excel knowledgeStrong analysis and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent time and project management skillsSelf-directed and detail orientedWilling and able to travel ~20�ditional InformationPHX Holdings, LLC offers a drug-free work place along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
