RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Full Time Lead Teacher works under the direction of the principal, with staff, students, and community to ensure a high-quality educational program and to formulate and accomplish the school mission. He/She will assist the principal in providing for an environment of high expectation for staff and students.
MINIMUM CRITERIA:

1. Minimum of four years successful teaching experience.
2. Demonstrates leadership skills.
3. Demonstrates professionalism in all daily routines particularly state curriculum standards and system pacing guides.
4. Collaborates well with others.
5. Willingness to accept additional responsibilities when asked.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in providing effective leadership in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the instructional program.
• Assist the principal in personnel functions.
• Assist in preparing and administering the school budget and supervising school finances.
• Assist in ensuring that students receive appropriate placement and services.
• Demonstrates proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Assist in providing a safe, orderly environment that facilitates teaching and learning.
• Assist in providing a climate of high expectations for staff and students.
• Assist with student behavioral concerns
• Assist in classroom instruction as needed.
• Work with small groups of students as directed by principal.
• Assist in implementation of Mentor Program, orientation of new personnel, and any other activities related to equipping new personnel for a positive start.
• Coordinates ISS
• Chairs PST
• Building level test coordinator
• Other Duties as assigned by Principal

Salary Range: From/To $45,441.00 - $92,240.00 (Bachelor?s, Master?s, AA & Doctorate Degree, 187 Days)
