Job Title: Experienced Paving/Concrete Foreman

Salary: From $40.00 per hour

T.E. Roberts, Inc. seeking an experienced Paving/Concrete Foreman to lead and coordinate construction site operations. This pivotal role involves managing both workers and supervisors, ensuring the smooth execution and timely completion of projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in paving or concrete work, exemplified leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate construction activities: Manage tasks according to project priorities, schedule crew shifts, and monitor attendance to ensure efficiency.
• Supervise and develop team members: Oversee the daily performance of workers, provide training, and ensure all team members are well-versed in safety practices and quality standards.
• Resource and budget management: Allocate necessary resources, manage the use of equipment, and maintain project expenditure within the allocated budget.
• Quality and safety oversight: Uphold all OSHA guidelines, ensure adherence to safety precautions, and guarantee quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Problem-solving and progress reporting: Address any operational challenges, and provide regular updates to managers and engineers on project status.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Foreman in paving or concrete projects (5 years required).
• Strong knowledge of construction procedures, OSHA safety guidelines, and essential equipment.
• Capability to interpret drawings, plans, and blueprints.
• Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Math proficiency and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle the physical demands of the job.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid Driver's License (Required)
