As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping our platform's success by leveraging your analytical skills to extract valuable insights and drive informed decision-making.

Overview:

  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to auction performance.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover key insights and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate with operations team
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the auction platform in real-time.
  • Upload weekly auctions onto all auction platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Predictive Modeling:
  • Utilize statistical modeling techniques to create predictive models for auction outcomes.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to implement and deploy models into production.
  • Data Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain data quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data used for analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations to address and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with product managers, and operations teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the platform.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools
- Advanced skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with statistical analysis techniques and tools
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
