Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator/Surgery Scheduler. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and surgeries and manage the patient care calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Book surgeries and collect payments
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Office administration: Proficient in general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Plastic Surgery office experience: Familiarity with plastic surgery procedures and terminology is preferred.
- Medical administrative support: Experience providing administrative support in a medical setting.
- Medical office procedures: Knowledge of plastic surgery procedures, including scheduling, delivering quotes, and assisting patients with booking surgeries.
