POSITION LOCATED IN SISSETON, SOUTH DAKOTA
The City of Sisseton is accepting applications for a Street Superintendent. Successful candidate should be self-motivated, hard-working and reliable. Will be directly responsible for the continuous operation of the City’s street department. Desired is two or more years experience in operation and maintenance of heavy equipment. Applicant should have good communication skills and possess the ability to work well with other employees and the public.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and within one year obtain a Commercial Driver’s License. Residency required within 30 miles of Sisseton within 6 months of being hired.
Beginning wage is $22.85-$23.85. Benefits include health insurance, state retirement, 10 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave.
