General Description :

This position is responsible for providing fuel and lubricants to customers via dock or truck rack.

Essential Duties & Job Functions :

• Fills propane tanks for customers
• Sells package lube products to customers
• Assist in bulk fuel transfers to and from barges
• Assist with tank farm operations
• Assist with oil spill response requirements
• General yard maintenance such as lawn mowing, trash pickup, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to maintain accurate accounting for transactions
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to communicate, maintain monetary and time management skills
• Ability to maintain accurate, updated preventative maintenance records.
• Ability to provide adequate customer service

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a mechanical shop environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

MOBILITY : While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses computers on a daily basis. He / she is regularly required to sit;

use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific physical requirements include, but are not limited to, stooping, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and performing repetitive motions.

Employee must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 25 pounds of force frequently and up to 75 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

• HEARING : The employee frequently is required to talk or hear while answering phones, working with customers, clients, supervisors, etc.
• VISUAL ACUITY : Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner. Ability to see and complete work on a personal computer and read color coded writing on equipment forms, etc.

Requirements

Required Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Dock attendant experience
• First Aid / CPR
