Experience:

• 5 years of Fine Dining server experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of wines and various cuisines
• Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
• Asset of knowing food service regulations
• Capable of prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in point-of-sale systems
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends
• Team player with the ability to work in a large team
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• 5 years of restaurant experience required

Responsibilities:

• Passionate about food and service, dedicated to creating excellent customer experiences
• Warmly greets customers, introduces them to the food and drink menu
• Memorizes food and beverage menus, offers recommendations to dining room customers
• Addresses menu questions, provides drink recommendations
• Takes food and beverage orders, enters them into the system promptly, and courses food items appropriately
• Provides attentive service by checking in during meals
• Promptly resolves customer service issues, referring customers to management when necessary
• Maintains table appearance
• Performs side work and end-of-shift closeout tasks

Benefits:

• Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of previous hospitality experience with a proven track record of professionalism, accountability, and team commitment
• Ability to stand for 9 hours and lift 40 pounds
• Capability to perform all job functions while wearing the specified uniform, including proper footwear
• Proficient English and spanish
• Working knowledge of POS systems
• Accurate, efficient, and proper cash handling skills
• Must maintain current state alcohol certification

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance consistently
• Prioritize teamwork in all tasks
• Awareness of and adherence to all liquor service laws
• Responsible for checking proper and legal identification of anyone who appears to be under the age of 25
• Perform bar set-up, running side work, and closing duties as assigned
• Prepare beverages consistently with the recipe and proper, fresh garnish
• Participate in bar clean up and conduct bar clean up following health code regulations
• Maintain bar safety and sanitation
• Operate the POS computerized cash register system and accept payments according to company cash handling policies
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team
