Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Body Shop Painter to join our team at Lou Fusz Mazda Evansville. This position is a full-time hourly role that requires a detail-oriented and efficient individual with a passion for quality workmanship. The Body Shop Painter will be responsible for painting and refinishing vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards for painting and refinishing vehicles
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and other necessary steps
• Mix paint to match original colors and apply it evenly and accurately
• Ensure a high-quality finish by properly buffing and polishing painted surfaces
• Keep an organized and clean work environment
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide superior customer service at all times
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Body Shop Painter
• Strong knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques
• Ability to interpret manufacturer guidelines and color codes
• Experience with buffing and polishing equipment
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
