As Mechanical Engineer (CAD Design & Testing) on the Engineering team, you will make a positive impact by: 

• Utilize CAD software to design and create detailed models, drawings, and assemblies of mechanical components and systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections and testing of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure they meet defined quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure that a root cause is identified correctly and that containment, corrective and preventive actions are implemented without undue delay.
• Work on continuous improvements of the production process.
• Support in communicating data with suppliers and related internal departments.
• Identify and address deviations from quality standards promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure the quality of the overall product, components, and parts. Conduct audits and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
• Travel to Manufacturing facilities and client sites: up to 40%

Qualifications we’re looking for.

• Experience:
  •  Proven experience as a Mechanical Test Engineer or CAD Designer, preferably in product development or manufacturing. Experience with Plastics is ideal.

• • Experience with mechanical testing, including developing test plans, conducting tests, and analyzing test data is a plus.
  • Experience with measurement equipment such as calipers and micrometer gauges.
• Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Abilities:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Catia) for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting, with a focus on mechanical components and systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
