Job Title: Social Media Manager

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid Position)

Due to the explosive growth of both Nick’s and The Modern Groom–our national wedding brand–we are looking to hire a full-time (40 hrs/week), Social Media Manager to support our Senior Art Director.

Job Summary:

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping and advising our content strategy. You will be responsible for creating captivating written content, managing our social media platforms, community engagement and reporting metrics. This role requires a combination of creative skills, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics. Experience with SEO is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and advise on strategic campaigns across our social media channels
  • Write compelling, grammatically correct captions for social media posts
  • Maintain content and editorial calendars
  • Ethically build brand loyal social audiences across our social media channels
  • Professionally respond to all audience comments/questions across organic and paid media posts; escalate high-priority issues to appropriate leadership
  • Manage company inboxes and DMs across social media channels, identifying potential qualified leads
  • Analyze and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs to address campaign efficacy
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing Team to Identify and connect with potential local and national Influencer Partners
  • Proactively suggest opportunities for content creation in support of both in-house Marketing Teams and external agency partners
  • Keep an eye on potential new channels and platforms for audience outreach
  • Monitor current trends and support Marketing Team in brainstorming ideas to strategically connect those trends to Nick’s/TMG’s messaging and brand priorities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience managing social media accounts, ideally within a D2C and/or retail space for a rapidly growing brand, and a documented track record of running successful social media campaigns
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a solid grasp of SEO principles.
  • Excellent understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Ability to interpret and apply analytics to improve social media performance.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge in the wedding industry is beneficial, but not mandatory
  • Experience with digital marketing reporting tools and dashboards
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Experience with TikTok Business Center
  • Experience with Pinterest for Business

Bonus Skills

  • Direct experience in marketing for fashion and/or lifestyle brands
  • Experience with ActiveCampaign
  • Content Creation Experience - Familiarity using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or other Creator tools to assist with branded content

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to receive/give constructive feedback with the team’s shared goals and vision in mind
