As an Insurance Credit Specialist on the Portland Glass team, a typical day for you will include:

•  Reviewing and resolving auto insurance claim rejects daily.
•  Reviewing and analyzing insurance aging to determine priority of collection efforts.
•  Resolving billing issues through insurance companies, networks, customers, and stores.
• Reviewing posted payments daily, resolving any short pays.
• Maintain notes to track status and progress of unpaid invoices.
• Entering invoice adjustments as necessary to correct or adjust billings, payments, or credits.

(Required qualifications)

• Experience: 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience, prior work in customer service, or insurance claim processing in an office environment helpful; bookkeeping experience a plus.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in MS Office and computer skills, good phone etiquette, good mathematical aptitude. Selected applicants are subject to, and must pass, a background check and drug screen, per applicable state laws. 
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; in lieu of experience, an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift minimum of 25 pounds

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time, 30-40 hours/weekly
