Acra Lending is hiring for a Due Diligence Processor to join our team!SummaryThis position is responsible for the processing of Due Diligence curative processing, reviewing and reporting data discrepancies and coordinating with other department managers for issuesthat arise from post-close review.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Process, cure and monitor outstanding Third-Party Review (“TPR”) exceptions.Identify trends in errors such as system failures, training opportunities or process gapsand report them to the Quality Control ManagerFacilitate communication between Underwriting, Closing, Compliance and Quality Controlfor Due Diligence matters.Facilitate outside contact with Brokers, Settlement Agents, Title companies for trailingdocuments required for TPR’s.Monitor the process of outstanding TPR exceptions and address urgent or aging issues.Prioritize curative work for scheduled trades to investors.Qualifications:Minimum two years’ experience with first lien mortgage, experience with processing and quality assurance preferred.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to develop working relationships with department managers.Ability to analyze and provide reports generated by internal systems.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school graduate or equivalent.Bachelor’s degree (may substitute equivalent relevant work experience).Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Abilityto write simple correspondence.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
