Nonprofit Entry-level Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services that meet the needs of the Somali Bantu community.

Description

**Job Title:** Project Coordinator

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Location:** [Location]

**Salary Range:** $14 to $16 per hour

**Job Overview:**

As a Project Coordinator at Somali Bantu Association of America in Indianapolis, Indiana, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services that meet the needs of the Somali Bantu community and other East African immigrant populations. You will work closely with community members, staff, and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.

**Responsibilities:**

Develop project plans and timelines for program implementation
Coordinate and communicate with staff, volunteers, and community members
Monitor and evaluate the progress of programs and make adjustments as needed
Collaborate with community organizations and partners to maximize impact
Prepare reports and presentations on project outcomes and impact
Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts

**Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience working with diverse communities, especially the Somali Bantu and East African communities residing in Indianapolis, IN.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Knowledge of community resources and services

Preference given to candidates who speak both English and East African dialects or languages.
