We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and tech savvy Training Instructor and Developer to join our team. This position will be a hands on collaboration with our product, engineering, and professional services team developing training content to meet our customers needs and will be customer facing as the instructor of our Clear Ballot Academy courses. This position is full-time based from our office in Nashua, NH. Some in-person work is required for this position as well as travel up to 50%.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on training classes on the voting system for a variety of roles from election administrators to maintenance technicians to poll workers to Clear Ballot employees. Classes may be held in our training facility in Nashua, NH, virtually, or in any of the 13 states (and growing) that use Clear Ballot products.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of training offerings in collaboration with curriculum developers and internal subject matter experts. Adapt existing content to account for regional variations or differences in how the training is delivered.
• Participate in setup and teardown of classroom environments including all necessary equipment and training materials.
• Handle event management and logistics for internal and customer-facing classes.
• Develop and deploy training assessments to measure student understanding and the effectiveness of training.
• Support our customers to run great elections and deepen your knowledge of election operations by providing onsite assistance during election cycles.
• Up to 50% travel within the US is required

• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and practice.
• Ability to manage the classroom and ensure training objectives are met within the allotted time.
• Technical aptitude, excellent communication and presentation skills, customer focused mindset.
• Reputation for keeping cool under pressure and being the person people turn to when they need help.
• Experience with source control, authoring tools such as MadCap Flare, and learning management systems (LMS) is a plus
