Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide specialized care and support to patients with mental health conditions. Your role will involve assessing patients, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans to promote their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health conditions

- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care

- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options

- Monitor patients for any changes in behavior or symptoms

- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Valid nursing license in MN

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse

- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their side effects

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health condition

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients
