The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking a dynamic and innovative teacher with an elementary teaching license or the ability to obtain one to join its team. The grade assignments for these positions are expected to be in the Hardwick Elementary School in Grade 5. Hardwick Elementary School is committed to working closely with our many community partners to provide a rich educational experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a: - Passion for inspiring and working with elementary students- Strong understanding of child development, growth mindset, and trauma-informed practices- Commitment to building strong relationships, preventative classroom management, and active differentiation. - Working knowledge of researched supported best practices for early literacy instruction- Working knowledge of Bridges MathematicsMountain View Union Elementary School District (or Mountain View) is comprised of the towns of Hardwick, Woodbury, Greensboro, and Stannard. Students typically attend the town in which they reside, with Stannard students attending on the Greensboro campus. School choice is an option within Mountain View. Hardwick Elementary School is located in Hardwick, VT, and serves students in grades preK-6. The school population is approximately 210 students.
