Struxur (aka Utility Sales) is a multiple line independent sales organization representing manufacturers in the power utility and telecommunication industry. We call on a wide variety of end users, distributors and engineers in the power utility and teleco markets. Our dedication to providing our sales team with the most up to date tools for success have helped our team grow and territory expand.

The Position:

We are looking for an experienced Territory Sales Manager to promote and sell products working with our established customers as well as growing and developing new relationships with a wide variety of end users, distributors and engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of outside sales experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be based in the assigned territory (In this particular case Minneapolis, Minnesota)
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a mandatory requirement
  • Regional travel up to 80%
  • Telecom or Power Utility industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and target new sales opportunities
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems experience
  • Distribution experience a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated

Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and build relationships with our current account base while cultivating new opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Executing sales and marketing plans
  • Perform End User focused sales calls
  • Prospect, cold call, drive for new business from the end user level up
  • Provide product training and education for end users and re-sellers sales reps as needed
  • Present new products to the market
  • Communicate on regular basis w/ internal team as to industry/customer trends
  • Record strategies & Objectives, opportunities, tasks and events in the provided CRM
  • Use social media and other online platforms to connect with contacts and generate opportunities

Pay: $54,379.39 - $90,000.00 per year
