Banquet Server

Fairview Wedding & Events is looking to add that next superstar to our team! We currently have seven locations in California and are growing! We are searching for a part time Banquet Server to join our Chardonnay location in American Canyon. This new location will perform over 100 weddings per year so if you are looking for a fun and active work environment this place is for you.

Job Description:

The Banquet Server is a key member of the banquet team and is responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage & Executive Chef in the oversight of all food & beverage operations at the property. This includes assisting in the daily execution of all banquet/dining functions at the property. The Banquet Server will apply all of their experience and knowledge to assuring outstanding guest service. This candidate must maintain a positive,

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

· Preferred 1-2 years of related experience in F&B

· Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws

· Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience

· Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented

· Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

· Must have strong service orientation

Responsibilities:

· Perform the correct policies and procedures

· Assist with banquet set-up and breakdown of tables, decoration, equipment, serving areas and related activities in an accurate and timely manner

· Provide excellent food and beverage service for banquet events/a la carte dining

· Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests

· Responsible for serving clients during events (refilling drinks, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.)

· Perform other duties assigned by manager or supervisor

Total Compensation:

• $16-18 per hour Depending on Experience
