IT PROJECT AND PROCESS MANAGER

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 50%

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is interviewing for an IT Project and Process Manager. The Information Technology (IT) Project Manager and Process is a critical role within our IT organization. In this role you will be reporting directly to the VP – Clinical Workflows & Technology. This position is instrumental in leading and supporting critical CEC technology projects, ensuring their success, and fostering collaboration across various departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In your role, you will lead critical IT related projects across applicable disciplines, encompassing the use of Project Management, Process Improvement, Change Management disciplines across the CEC Enterprise.
  • You will provide essential guidance, using your business and information technology expertise to influence the project team resources and achieve the desired project outcomes. This guidance will involve resource allocation, work plans, timelines, and financial goals.
  • You will be involved in developing and managing IT project plans related to high priority technology projects including but not limited to NextGen, ModMed, Vital Interaction, Brevium, Forum and AXIS. These plans will encompass scope, resource planning, costs, and schedules. You will define key milestones, facilitating the execution of commitments and holding stakeholders accountable working with Clinics, ASCs, and Call Center functions.
  • You will lead / participate in process improvement initiatives including current state and future design projects leveraging Six Sigma and Lean process techniques to drive improvements with the Clinics and ASCs, and Call Center functions.
  • You will manage project team reviews, provide regular status updates, and maintain a risk management plan, including mitigation strategies. Engaging the right stakeholders within clinics and ASCs across the CEP enterprise. In addition, this role will ensure proper risk and issue management to keep projects on track leveraging PM tools such as Monday.com.
  • You will become the IT communications leader and change agent related to technology initiatives both planned and unplanned, as well as key initiatives such as the 5 Star experience and engagement opportunities within Operations across the enterprise.
  • You will contribute to resolving incoming IT requests for assistance leveraging your experiences with an emphasis on EPM and EHR platform technologies.
  • Effective collaboration will be your forte. You will work across various teams to identify and mitigate interdependency barriers, ensuring smooth project progress.
  • Your role extends to being a change agent, promoting the development and integration of systems thinking and the use of improvement tools and methods in interdisciplinary or departmental teams.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of Project management or Lean Six Sigma Process experience supporting IT, Operations, or Infrastructure.
  • Experience in the delivery of specialty medical care, specifically ophthalmology, will elevate your candidacy.
  • An associate degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or similar field is preferred, but professional experience will be considered.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification(s) would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in the use of the internet and intranet resources, as well as MS Word, Outlook, and Excel, Visio, is required.
  • Additional software competencies in the delivery of clinic based medical care is strongly preferred including working knowledge of NextGen, ModMed as it relates to ophthalmology.
  • Ability to travel to locations in NV, WA, UT and TX for up to 50% is required.
