Experience in networking and system administration

Extensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Cisco, local and wide area networks, and security

Prior management experience

Network certifications in Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) and Microsoft Windows Server preferred

Working experience and thorough understanding of SANs, backup systems and disaster recovery, and emergency preparedness strongly desired

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, superiors, other departments, outside agencies, and vendors

Ability to evaluate staff performance, develop, and recommend training

Thorough knowledge of network operations (LAN, WAN SAN, network attached devices, etc.)
