JOB TITLE: Quality Lead II

REPORTS TO:Sr. Quality & Process Excellence Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Line Inspection and Inspector Training:
  • Lead line inspection activities, ensuring compliance with established quality standards.
  • Train inspectors on inspection techniques, quality criteria, and adherence to standards.
• Supervision of Vanity Top Inspection:
  • Oversee vanity top inspection processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed to address non-conformities and improve quality.
• System Transition Oversight:
  • Supervise and control system transitions in quality locations, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption to operations.
• Communication with Suppliers:
  • Communicate product non-conformance issues with suppliers via emails and video calls.
• Sample Inspection and Quality Logs:
  • Perform sample inspection on incoming products to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain and update quality logs from daily inspections, ensuring accurate records of quality metrics and performance.
• Scrap Verification and Disposition:
  • Manage scrap verification processes, ensuring accurate identification and disposition of non-conforming materials.
• Special Projects:
  • Collaborate on special projects as needed to improve quality processes, drive efficiency, and meet organizational objectives.

• RGA Verification:
  • Verifying & shipping products for customer escalation needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, Minitab) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
