New Tech Global is currently seeking a CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist for a client in Houston, TX. This is a direct hire role. 

Both day and evening shifts available.

Evening shift is 3:30 PM TO 12:00 AM. 
Overview

• Responsible for producing quality products in a safe and timely manner.
• Loading and unloading of parts using overhead cranes and loading/unloading parts using overhead cranes are required abilities.
• Identifying problems before the production run to avoid running out of tolerance parts.
• Excellent understanding of measuring equipment and tolerancing.
• Excellent knowledge of cutting tools.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Machining experience including 5-10 years operating a CNC mill.
• Ability to work overtime when required and stand for long periods of time.
• Job Shop experience preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must have initiative to complete basic housekeeping.
• Must contribute, share ideas for improvement and work well within a team.
• Foster a positive safety culture and possess and contribute to safety awareness.
